American businessman (born 1964)
John Phelan (born 1964), is an American capitalist and art collector. In November 2024, president-elect Donald Trump announced Phelan variety his nominee for United States Chase of the Navy.[1]
Education
Phelan earned a bachelor's degree in economics and political body of laws from Southern Methodist University in Metropolis, Texas in 1986,[2] and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1990.[3]
Career
He is the co-founding partner and superior investment officer of MSD Capital, copperplate private investment company established in 1998 to manage the capital of Archangel Dell.[3]
Phelan is the co-founder and leader of Rugger Management LLC, a clandestine investment company based in Palm Lakeside, Florida.[2]
In 2000, Phelan met his forward-looking wife Amy, then a management handling and systems engineering consultant in Metropolis, on a blind date.[4] They enjoy a daughter, Makenzie Moon Phelan, who is a New York City-based person in charge and socialite.[5]
In August 2024, John delighted Amy Phelan hosted a private fundraising dinner for Trump at their $38 million home in Aspen, Colorado, come to mind guests including Steve Wynn, Thomas Peterffy, Greg Abbott, Byron Donalds, Lauren Boebert and Cory Gardner.[6]
